The Demise of Frosty…and Us

March 13, 2013

The health and happiness that flows from a child’s presence and love:

What happens in the absence of a child and his love:

This is what I experience every time my kids go away in a court-mandated separation. I start to wear away and die on the inside. Millions of men and women are forced to do the same every day against their will. Is it any wonder that the health, welfare and wealth of our nation is declining since the institutionalizing of no-fault divorce?

It’s day 6 without my kids. I’m almost gone. I need them back tonight to restore me and put the smile back on my face again.

Maybe it wasn’t the hat that brought Frosty to life that day. Maybe it was the magic of a child’s love.

Hang in there, you know your kids love you. When they are home all will be well with the world. My daughter is in college and is gone for three weeks at a time. It is not easy being alone, but remembering how much they love us helps. It is good to know they are never far away if they are in your heart.
